Instead, I'm aiming to make 1 thing per WEEK, and if I'm lucky, I might manage more. I still intend to keep posting the stuff I've made here, so don't worry!
First week at school has been a little hectic, but I'm pleased to say DS5 loves it.
Here is a pic of him on his first day, looking very smart in his uniform:

I ended up going to the Queenscliff Hotrod Festival the other week, as I said in my last post. I decided to get dressed up for the occasion:

Here is a pic of a little fascinator/cocktail hat type thingy that I made. I saw one similar somewhere and thought it was really cute! I'm rather pleased with how it turned out!

Other than that, the only thing I've really been able to make in the last week are some very yummy butterscotch scrolls:

They go down a treat and are sooo simple to make!
Here's the recipe:
Butterscotch Scrolls
Dough:
30 grams butter or marg
2 cups SR flour
3/4 cup milk
Filling:
75 grams butter or marg
1/2 cup brown sugar
cinnamon, for sprinkling
Method:
Rub butter into flour until it resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add milk, mix to a soft dough.
Turn onto lightly floured surface and knead lightly.
Roll out rectangle 1 cm thick. Spread with butter (or marg) and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up as a swiss roll and cut into slices with a serrated knife. Place onto greased and lined baking tray. Bake at 220 C for 10-12 mins until golden and cooked. Dust with icing sugar.
Enjoy!!
oh you look like a doll...love the lips girl!
